Last week I put my wedding photographer hat on and help celebrate the union of a fantastic couple at the The Boat House around Lake Burley Griffin and I must say there is something about having the privilege and honour to be someones wedding photographer that I really enjoy.

Maybe its the fact they trust in my skills and ability to get the shots or maybe its the free food, or maybe it is just the fact that of all the days that are special to us, marriage is on top of that list.

As a wedding photographer I like to capture not only the people but the other things that make up the wedding day.

Canberra and the surrounds is a fantastic place for a wedding photographer like myself as the background and changing of the colours bring such an diverse range of image and possibilities to the images I can capture that I never run out of ideas. 🙂

And with this wedding the colours of the leaves falling from the tress was just spectacular.

Here are just a sneak peak from that day with the rest of the image and the formal shots with the trees and by the lake yet to come.
