BTL – New Plymouth, New Zealand

Well I finally have home time and the technology to post about my photographic trip of New Zealand?… Yeah!!!!! I wont get into how my I just love his place, or how spectacular the landscape is, or how friendly the people are as I will leave that for another post. πŸ˜‰ What I will do is show you a quick behind the lens shot out of my front door. This is was taken in New Plymouth in New Zealand, which is half way up the north island and on the western edge of the country, and all I can say is this was a wonderful way to wind down from a day driving and a couple of drinks to watch the sun go down.

  1. I’m assuming by the weather that you didn’t get the shot of Mount Taranaki that you wanted? Didn’t look too clear up there on Wednesday. Pleased to see you got a shot of the Powerstation chimney – it will be a piece of history soon as they are currently pulling it down.

  2. Oh I got the shot. We walking 2.5 hours one way to find that puddle that reflected the mountain only to have it covered in cloud….. But the photographic gods showed up and blew them away enough to get a shot and in a few minutes it was covered in cloud once again. πŸ™‚

Let me say it was worth the 5 hour and 15km walk to get that photo
