We live in a fantastic country one that I’m very proud of and one I’m sure would be very different place if it wasn’t for the sacrifices of the men and women throughout our history the gave up their lives to protect ours!
Today we stand together side-by-side as Australians with our Kiwi mates, with the knowledge that they like us have the courage to fight for what we think is right. To do the service of the country this and make the ultimate sacrifice.
So today be kind to each other, look after and help out your mates just as they would look after you.
With the arrival more speedlites the consumption of power that these things require to stay on for extended periods throughout events while is never-ending!!!!
This chase for power will hopefully be rectified with the addition of these CP-E4 external battery packs for my ever-growing range of Canon 600 EX-RT speedlites.
While these suckers are not cheap to buy they are also not cheap to fill with batteries as a take eight AA batteries, they do in conjunction with the four AA batteries already sit inside the speedlites themselves reduces the recycle time to up to a third, while extending the life by at least double, and I must say I can’t wait to put them to the test at my next event!!!!!
Victims are not fools! They are victims! They victims because someone else decided to make them a victim they themselves did not choose that, so why is it that we blame them and shame them because of it?
Victims of sexual violence have a right to be protected and have a right to be heard! They should not be looked down as criminals or people that are responsible for the actions of others.
That stop shifting the blame and put it back where it belongs and that my friends is not on the victims!
Anna is just a fantastic person to work with.. She has been on many shoots with me and is always prepared to give her best and then some..
Her and I were chatting on set about a shoot we did a year ago where we started at around 8 pm and went until about 2am… lol
It was a super fun shoot and I think we both learned a lot over that night.
Once again she didn’t disappoint and was super professional and pulled off the shots in what was very crappy conditions… Which for us was fantastic as that is what we were after.. lol
There was a report of the person seen holding a gun around the Australian government, Department of human services building in Tuggeranong at around 9:30 AM today.
The Australian Federal police responded by closing down to surrounding roads of the building went into lockdown with all staff secured inside.
As part of my other hat I also do photojournalism and as soon as I heard of this I kissed my daughter good bye and told her I was going to photograph some person with a shotgun an sword, grabbed my equipment and jumped in the car to see what I could capture.
Arriving on location where were several police cars driving around and surrounding building that was lockdown. Joining me were TV crews and reporters all eager to capture the story.
I must say we are a strange bunch as we run to the danger while others hide and I don’t think my friends can really understand why it is that I do this.
As we tried to ascertain the exact extent of what was going on I did my thang….. 🙂
