Tragedy turned into a life long memory

Photographers live strange lives….  Generally speaking they live for the first and last hour of the day as that is when the light is at its best…  The rest of the time they are chasing the light/shadows so they can get just the right shot.

For me waking up before dawn is normal and today was not exception…  So as I lay in bed before the sun rise I Read More

Put On The Brakes!!!!

I love being a hands on person!!! One of the great things is that I can take some down time to get involved with “stuff” that I wouldn’t do professionally, and working on cars is one of those things.

The feeling of being able to build and fix something sets you free…. OK, it doesn’t really set you free, but it gives you some time to spend in your own mind. 🙂Read More

Congratulations to Alanna

Alanna has won the “FREE Memories” competition with her selfless action of giving away the winnings to someone less fortunate.

I cant wait to get in touch with her friend to let her know what a wonderful friend she has and what a wonderful gift she has won.

Look out your backdoor

I looked out my back door the other morning to see the sun rising, as it started to come over the hills it starting to light up the hills on the opposite side of the valley.  What caught my eye was the clouds down in the valley at the base of the hill.

They were like a white blanket that sweeped across the valley to give a feeling of calm and mystery.

The cool thing about this shot is that I didn’t have to even leave my house, and that is a point worth making  – You don’t have to go too far away from home to get great photos. 😉

Great photos are all around you just need to know HOW to look.
