What’s The Time?

Talking with a client today about product photography got me all inspired to whip out the lights and one of my watches for the sole purpose to photograph it and produce this little video for you. So sit back for the next 60 seconds and enjoy the excitement that is post processing a watch. 🙂

Do make sure you watch the video or boy oh boy you will be missing out big time..   hahahahaha  Ok Ok Ok I have almost drawn out all my time/watch jokes but watch this space as I can get one last one in here just in the nick of time.

2015 Will Be Know As The Quite Year

Going through and doing some house cleaning to cut over to a new year, I noticed that in the last year I only kept 75,504 (I delete the photos that don’t make the cut) photos and clearly I take December and January off. hahahahaha

Maybe it is too warm or I just like getting out and about in the summer. 😉

When I conduct classes and workshops people ask me what is the best thing they can do to improve their photography…. My answer is always the same… practice, practice, practice…. On average my students take around 7000 photos a year.  I personally don’t think when you are learning that 7000 a year is enough.  🙂

The more you take the more you learn and the better you become. 🙂

How many photos do you take a year?

Angry Anderson Face Recognition – FAIL!!!!

Be working through some photos over the last few days (for something different of course) and part of my workflow is to use face recognition within Lightroom to identify people within photos so they can be tagged and easily located later.

Most of my photos these days are tagged in this way since it was available in the latest version of Lightroom and in doing this Lightroom builds up a library of people which I photographed and when it evaluates a new photo it has a guess at who might actually be in the image so as to reduce the time and effort that it takes to do this face recognition and tagging.

While it does a good job at guessing I’m pretty sure that this gentleman is not Angry Anderson!!!! hahahahaha

I guess it just goes to show the interesting people I have in my Lightroom catalogue and people that I photographed. LOL

I Am Officially In Love But You Will Never Guess With Who!!!

I have been working on a image for the last few weeks now and I must say I am in love with her…

Words can not express how she makes me feel when I look at her, and she brings a smile to my face when I see her.

She has passion, drama, softness and a whole lot of WOW!!!!!!  She just take my breath away when I look at her…

She is not slim shaker and in reality she is the size of a blue whale..  She is massive….  but I love every pixel of her…  She is beautify and amazing…   Her heart is warm and comforting but she such depth and is far from shallow…  OMG… Just amazing….

I cant tell you too much more but I just couldn’t hold back my love any more…

OMG she is amazing!!!!!

What I can show you as she is a bit shy is some side line info…   As you can agree she might be on the large size at 32,467 x 4,860 pixels but I love her even more…
